Post Comment Love 16-18 July

Welcome to this week’s #PoCoLo - a friendly linky which I co-host with Suzanne, where you can link any post published in the last week. We know you’ll find some great posts to read, and maybe some new-to-you blogs too, so do pop over and visit some of the posts linked and share some of that love. If you were here last week it was great to have you along, if you’re new here this week we’re pleased you’re here.

And breathe. Once again I’m taking some leave, but even though my leave year starts in April and I’ve already had two weeks off, this is the first of this year’s leave. I’m getting the hang of it, and I’m really looking forward to it. I must have sensed I’d need some time off, as the place we’ve booked is wifi-free and is basically a cabin in a field. I’m hoping it’s not basic though, and I’m looking forward to making full use of the wood-fired hot tub. The weather forecast for the weekend is looking promising too, let’s hope it’s close to being correct.

I’ll leave you with a picture of the clematis in my garden which is having its best year ever.

The return of the Loo Series

Yes, it’s been a while but y’know, lockdown. It’s not exactly been the time to be out, let alone be out snapping pictures in loos. But last week we headed into the City for a meal at the city version of Bar Douro - so it was always likely to be photograph-able.

And though it was small, it didn’t disappoint.

So many different patterns, but mostly as you’d expect blue and white. The light fittings were unique too - that’s the metal sphere in the photo below.

And yes, a mask wearing Loo Series entry.

Well, what a week football-wise. And what a rollercoaster of emotions, which has left us in unchartered territory. The actual match, the one against Denmark was almost unbearable to watch, but what a tournament they’ve had too. And so it comes down to a final game, I hardly dare watch - but of course, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

This week my photo is of my latest crochet project, which has turned out much more colourful than I expected - but I love it. I’ll share more here once it’d done.
