I thought it fitting to share this focal Black & White photo today on Remembrance Sunday. I couldn't resist allowing a little of the red of the poppies to come through.
Many people have visited the installation and I think many more would like too, I think it's both beautiful and poignant and am pleased I was able to visit three times, see the Poppies at the Tower of London. We volunteered to plant poppies one Sunday morning at the end of September and I'll share more of those photos here on Tuesday, Armistice Day. Volunteering was an amazing experience and tough on our thumbs, however it being tough on our thumbs was nothing in comparison to what each of the 888,246 poppies represent.
