I'm sticking with Lyme Regis for today's black and white photo. Yesterday I shared some shots of the Cobb there, but I took this one at the other end of the town. It amuses me to think of people sitting on those benches eating their sarnies with that cannon looking over their shoulders. But I guess you can never be too careful...
The cannon faces over Lyme Bay towards Burton Bradstock, but it's the foreground that I like in this shot. The cobbles add texture and the iron railings add their own pattern too. I've one more post to come of Lyme Regis, this time of the town so pop back early next week to see that.
