What to do in the garden this month
Put up summer hanging baskets and position containers for maximum enjoyment, but don’t forget to water them
Pinch out the sideshoots on your tomatoes
Harvest lettuce, radish and other salads
Plant out summer bedding
Cut your grass at least once a week, unless the weather is very dry
