Welcome to this week’s #PoCoLo - a friendly linky which I co-host with Suzanne, where you can link any post published in the last week. We know you’ll find some great posts to read, and maybe some new-to-you blogs too, so do pop over and visit some of the posts linked and share some of that love. If you were here last week it was great to have you along, if you’re new here this week we’re pleased you’re here.

This week has been one of those more relaxed working weeks, and to be honest, it’s long overdue. For four days I’ve worked mornings and gone to events in the afternoon, and it’s been good to get out and about. Today is a full day of work, but then again it’s Friday after all.

As I walked into the village yesterday, finally I got to see the geese crossing the road. They’re well know for making full use of the crossing, but this is the first time I’ve seen it for myself. The cars stop and wait more patiently than for people, I’m sure.

Thanks for your good wishes last week, we had the most idyllic long weekend away - and the weather played its part too. It was so warm that it slowed us down, but in reality that was no bad thing. The cabin was great and had complete privacy. There were four other cabins on the site but each was private. We spent evenings on the deck and woke to the best sunrises - as you can tell from this week’s photo.

And breathe. Once again I’m taking some leave, but even though my leave year starts in April and I’ve already had two weeks off, this is the first of this year’s leave. I’m getting the hang of it, and I’m really looking forward to it. I must have sensed I’d need some time off, as the place we’ve booked is wifi-free and is basically a cabin in a field. I’m hoping it’s not basic though, and I’m looking forward to making full use of the wood-fired hot tub. The weather forecast for the weekend is looking promising too, let’s hope it’s close to being correct.

I’ll leave you with a picture of the clematis in my garden which is having its best year ever.
