It’s been a quiet week over on my blog as we’ve been out and about exploring the Lake District. It’s the first time MOH and I have been here since we visited as children with our families. Much is the same but much is different I’m sure, but we have been extremely luck with the weather. Especially for the lakes.
We’ve clocked up some miles, mostly in the car but some on foot walking through the Cumbrian lanes and around a few museums too. We’ve eaten locally in restaurants and cafes, farm shops and local shops and it is just by coincidence that we’re staying just up the road from the place where sticky toffee pudding originates.
