Welcome to this week’s #PoCoLo - a friendly linky which I co-host with Suzanne, where you can link any post published in the last week. We know you’ll find some great posts to read, and maybe some new-to-you blogs too, so do pop over and visit some of the posts linked and share some of that love.

How’s your week been? It’s been pretty much the same here. But then again it is the seventeenth week of working from home and I suspect I’ve a fair few ahead of me yet. We have responsibly visited family, and we are heading to a local restaurant this weekend. I’m sure that will feel strange.

You might have noticed a few more blog posts than in the past few weeks, and that’s something - along with catching up with my reading - that I hope to keep up. I don’t know about you, but reading generally during lockdown hasn’t been able to hold my attention - but I should try harder!

My photo this week is of the herbs i have in pots on the patio. Somewhere along the way I seem to have lost the coriander, but the parsley and the dill are going strong - and enjoying the sunlight. Let’s hope the forecast improved weather arrives as planned.

I’VE HAD A HAIRCUT.

And while I was there colour too. And it feels good. I was a little apprehensive about going, but I was really pleased with how few people I saw. In the whole time I was there, there was only eight people in the salon, and I was one of them. My hairdresser was surprised by how much it had grown, and cut almost an inch and a half off, and was very polite about the hacking I’d done. I’m sure all hairdressers will see some sights, and some may struggle to keep their emotions under wraps!

My photo this week is from some accidental pruning. Finally we tackled the ivy by the patio, I should have done it sooner, but you know… Though it meant it was harder to see what was what until it was cut. And this single stem of roses ended up on the floor unintentionally. So they were whisked inside and into a vase and are still going strong.

Week 15 of lockdown. The good news it hasn’t been as bad as week 14. Last week was the worst week for me so far, though I’m not sure why. I think it was the week I felt the most frustrated, and bored by it all. And saying that I was bored somehow influenced my mood. In comparison to recent weeks (and months), July is looking positively outgoing, and it’s not like we’ve got a huge amount planned!

My photo this week is of a view that greeted me as I popped out to open the greenhouse before breakfast. The runner beans that had been in the pot were neatly laid aside, and so some early and emergency gardening was needed. Thanks to the foxes. Let’s hope the beans are grateful, and don’t mind a slight outing!
