Hello there and welcome to this week’s #PoCoLo a friendly linky where you can link any post published in the last week.

It’s both a bit of a special and a sad #PoCoLo this week. Sad because it’s Morgan’s last week as Co-Host, some two hundred editions after we both started out after taking over as hosts from Vicky at the start of 2016. I’m not sure either of us knew what we were taking on, or quite how we were going to manage it, but I know I was glad to have Morgan alongside me.

I’m not sure if I ever told Morgan this, but as you’ve guessed, I’m about to. When I first started blogging back in 2013 (wow, that’s a while ago!) Morgan’s was one of the first blogs I discovered and read. At the time I had no idea what a milieu was, but I was enjoying reading her posts, and lots of other blogs too - I now wonder how I managed to read so many, and I kind of miss that part about blogging. We connected on social media, like you do, and life went on, as it does.

But anyway, when Vicky got in touch and asked us both to take over as co-hosts, it was an instant yes from me and there was no ‘blog checking out’ needed from me. The summer after we started to host #PoCoLo we met up with each other and with Vicky, at a blogging conference, possibly BritMums. It turned out to be a great day to get to know each other, and we met some of our regular linkers too that day, who I think were surprised we didn’t know each other before. Well in real life anyway.

I’ll truly miss Morgan as Co-Host, but like all of you I wish her every success in what’s up next for her. Thanks Morgan, it’s been a blast.

So if this is Morgan’s last #PoCoLo as Co-Host, what about next week?

Well, there’s news here too. We’ve been ever so lucky, and from next week I’ll be joined by a new Co-Host, and one I think most of you will know, Suzanne from Chickenruby. Thanks Suzanne, I’m looking forward to the next phase of #PoCoLo with you.

And as ever, amongst all this news, there’s a linky fighting to get out. As ever I’m certain you’ll find some great posts to read, and maybe some new-to-you blogs too, so do pop over and visit some of the posts linked and share some of that love.

The big news this week is that our boiler is fixed, but not without a little panic along the way. I don’t feel the cold as much as MOH, but even I’m glad it’s fixed, providing warmth and not spilling water all over our wooden floor. Even the small amount of water it deposited was annoying, I can’t even begin to comprehend how the people whose homes have been destroyed by floods this week feel. It just doesn’t bear thinking about does it?

I’ve taken very few photos this week, but have managed more blog posts than I have for a while - I guess it’s all about balance! The photo I’m sharing this week is from our visit to Kenilworth Castle, and a wander around the gardens, which are fabulous. Even in October. it’s a good reminder that I should edit and share those photos.

Last week we shared Morgan’s news that she’s hanging up her blogging hat and that I am looking for a new co-host for PoCoLo, so if that’s something you’re interested in then please get in touch with us at postcommentlove@gmail.com

This week there’s been some glorious autumn days, and walking to work has been great photo opportunities. The downside of that though is that walking to work takes a little bit longer than expected.

Worth it though to enjoy the views.
