Post Comment Love and Blogger Showcase: 7-9 October 2016

Hello and welcome back to another week of Post Comment Love. This week I'm pleased to say we have one of our regular linkers in the Blogger Showcase spot and her timing is impeccable as we were almost without someone this week. So if you'd like to be featured, please do get in touch with Morgan or I.

Last Thursday we left London early and crawled around the M25 for a couple of hours before escaping the traffic for a lovely long weekend in Devon, and I've linked my post which gives a snippet of everything we got up to. I'll warn you now it was a busy one.

My photo is from the one of the many flower arrangements at Killerton and it seems I'm not the only one who likes a sunflower or two.

The thing though about a lovely, but busy weekend away is that it often makes for a tiring start to the week. I'm afraid that means I've been a bit behind commenting this past week, but I'll be catching up with myself over the next week, so please bear with me.

Blogger Showcase: Peachy from The Diary of a Little Peach

I'm Peachy, the blogging baby. I was born in December 2015. Eating, sleeping, and playtime take up a large part of my day and running a blog takes a lot of work and commitment. Luckily I have mommy to help me. She is a very good assistant.

My blog is called The Diary of a Little Peach because when mommy held me on the day I was born, she said I was her sweet little peach. I launched my blog in April of 2016 and it has been an incredible journey. Mommy and I have been enjoying this adventure together and we can't wait to see where it will lead us next.

The Diary of a Little Peach is a parenting blog written from the perspective of a baby. I write stories about my observations, thoughts, and discoveries. I have been told that I am funny and that my perspective on things tends to be humorous. Maybe that's just because big people don't understand the serious business of being a baby.

My blog isn't just a collection of fun stories and entertaining tales. I want to be useful and helpful to parents and my fellow babies. I rely on my personal experiences, along with some research assistance from mommy, to share helpful tips, ideas, and guides on subjects such as bedtime routines, feeding, developing social skills, playtime, physical activities, and more.

Mommy and I have been busy developing a new section on The Diary of a Little Peach which consists of my favourite baby food recipes. Mommy cooks, I taste test, and then my favourite recipes get published on my blog. It has been going very well and my online cookbook has been expanding at a steady pace.

Not only am I busy doing taste testing, I do product testing as well. Toys, clothes, and baby gear are subjected to my rigorous testing. I even try out apps because a modern baby needs to stay on top of developments in technology. My favourite finds get a review on my blog.

The Diary of a Little Peach is a different kind of parenting blog with a unique take on things. I want to share everything that mommy and I have found useful on our journey together, along with a good helping of fun and humour. Being a baby is hard work, and mommy claims parenting isn't easy either, but that doesn't mean we have to be miserable about it.

Post Comment Love 30 Sept - 2 Oct 2016

Hello there, and how is it Friday again so soon?  Welcome back to #PoCoLo, the friendly place to link up any post you've written in the past week that could do with some extra love. This week we've got another fab #BloggerShowcase for you, below you'll find a summary about our blogger and her social links, but for the full story pop over to Morgan's blog.

How's your week been?

I've had a busy one, well the weekend was especially busy. On Saturday we had a night out (I know!) celebrating my Korfball club's seventieth anniversary and I hit the dancefloor. Infact I even persuaded MOH onto to the dancefloor too, but don't tell anyone he danced to S Club, he didn't manage any of the actions to Reach, but one step at a time, hey.  If you've not heard of Korfball before it's a mixed sport, sort of a cross between basketball and netball and great fun. I don't play regularly (well at all) any more, but I do get invited to the parties, which seems a good deal to me.

Sunday was also busy, we started with a ride over to Excel and the Homebuilding and Renovating Show on the cable car. Then we headed up to the London Design Fair in the Old Truman Brewery - a fascinating building and a great show. I took plenty of photos, and have several blog posts coming up on that and we walked a fair way too. We ended our day with a fabulous meal in Dishoom, my first time there and most certainly not my last.

My photo this week is one from Shoreditch where these brightly coloured stacked picnic benches caught my eye. I'm still not sure if they are benches being stored or a modern art installation. But I liked them either way!

Blogger Showcase: Fionnuala from My Kitchen Notebook, Three Sons Later and The Inconspicuous Blog

Yes Fionnuala's a busy lady!  I regularly read Fionnuala's Three Sons Later and marvel at her talent for making things effortlessly chic, and have read her third blog The Inconspicuous Blog as well, but hadn't made the connection until she got in touch. I love the tagline and ethos behind this blog - for the quiet little blogs of the world  - Fionnuala says it's meant as a resource for hobby bloggers to find reassurance and guidance when things get too much and is an alternative to the big bloggers advice. Her original blog, My Kitchen Notebook, is a new-to-me blog and after a quick browse I'm pretty sure I'll be going back to try some of the recipes.

Post Comment Love & Blogger Showcase 23-25 September 2016

Hello there and welcome to another Friday and another PoCoLo. It's great to see you and you're welcome to link up any post you've written this week that could do with some extra love. I am starting to emerge from my new job haze, which is good news but I'm settling into my new routine and as usual, running to catch up with myself most of the time. This week I've realised that's just how I am, so that's how it'll be.

As predicted last week Autumn is now with us. The Autumn Equinox was yesterday and because I'm contrary this week I'm sharing a particularly summery image! It's another from Unsplash which I've been dipping into quite a bit this week. I need to rediscover my photo mojo again. I'm sure spending some time in Greenwich in my lunch hour will help.

Blogger Showcase: Nicky from Not Just The 3 Of Us

Thank you for including me here on the new Blogger Showcase.

My name is Nicky Kentisbeer, I live in London. I am wife to ‘Iron Man’ (as he is referred to in the blog) and we have a 10 year old daughter (who is affectionately referred to as ‘The Kid’).  I blog at Not Just The 3 Of Us and have been doing so for just over a year.  Having left my job as a Business Manager earlier this year, I found I was spending more and more time on the blog and I absolutely love it.  I have recently fulfilled my dream of getting a self-hosted site and I am now allowing myself the gift of working full-time on the blog to see where it leads, now the school holidays are over!

I am a Lifestyle Blogger but I like to have a little natter about most things.  I also have a background in supporting small business start-ups and hope to put this to use in being able to offer a copywriting service to small businesses. I am really excited about the next few months.
