Post Comment Love 26-29 August 2016

Hello there and welcome to another Friday and a Bank Holiday edition of Post Comment Love. We'll keep the linky open until 11pm on Monday so if you're out and about and enjoying yourselves - and I hope you are - then hopefully you'll still find some time to link up.  And even if you're not out and about, there's time to take it a bit more leisurely in the heat we've had.

It's been lovely, and we are being spoilt. But hasn't it been warm?!  This week I've made a few discoveries, and if I get the time I hope I'll write a post on that, but in the meantime I've linked what I discovered on the other side of the fence in the Flower Garden on my daily walking commute.

Post Comment Love & the new Blogger Showcase 19-21 August 2016

Hello and welcome to another week of Post Comment Love. If you linked up last week, it was lovely to see you and if you're new here, hello and welcome!

It's been the week I started my new job and my local commute to Greenwich. This week I've done that on foot and it's been lovely so far, rain is forecast for today so hopefully that won't be too bad. I spent lunch one day in Greenwich Market completely mesmerised by this sculpture while eating what was essentially a deep-fried pizza. Very nice it was too, if not a little odd, but of course I managed!

Introducing our new Blogger Showcase

If you're a regular here then you'll know each week Morgan and I usually feature a new blogger in our Newbie Showcase section. Well now we're opening that up to any blogger and we're hoping that some of our regular linkers will be among those - and some of the first - to take part in our Blogger Showcase.

If you're interested in taking part then get in touch with Morgan and I and we'll explain more. Although, like the Newbie Showcase you'll need to get your information to us before we schedule your date, that makes our Thursday evenings a lot less stressful.

Post Comment Love & Newbie Showcase 12-14 August 2016

Hello and welcome to another week's Post Comment Love, or #PoCoLo, it's great to see you again and both Morgan and I are looking forward to see what posts you have in store for us this week. I'm still reading last week's posts and all the time I thought I'd have while I'm in-between jobs has disappeared, I'm not sure where.

MOH has had some time off this week too and we've spent a couple of days filling the skip which arrived Tuesday. Yesterday and today, and most probably tomorrow will all be about filling the skip with earth. And carrying it in trugs through the house. Yesterday there were twenty eight trugs worth, which doesn't sound too much. Until you're carrying them, that is.

And because we're cutting the circles in our grass for real, there's been a string to get the shapes right rather than freestyling it as before. We're getting there, but it's hard work - and that's part of the reason I've been quieter this week.  All that physical work is making me ready for my bed at the end of the day!

Newbie Showcase: Claire from Now my Name is Mummy

I'm Claire - wife, new mother, worrier & avocado lover. I’m a 28 year old first time Mum to my beautiful baby boy who was born in January 2016.  I started blogging at Now my Name is Mummy, because time is passing so quickly, Henry is changing everyday, learning new skills, developing his cheeky little personality and generally amazing me.

Writing helps me reflect on the sometimes chaotic days we spend together and I hope he will enjoy looking back on it when he’s older and for us to remember our first years together.

The blogging community is lovely, so supportive and welcoming and I really hope people enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing.

Here's my favourite posts:
