Black & White photo #10: A Boat Seat

We're back from a week in Cornwall and I literally have hundreds of photos to wade through, so it's appropriate that I'm sharing a boat this week!  This one though has been upturned and transformed into a boat seat and can be found in Glendurgan Gardens.

It's a fab place to while away some time in the garden - although it is in demand for photos - and it looks just as good in black and white as it does in real life.  And I think the ferns are doing a great job emulating waves...

Black & White photo #9: A Country Stile

This week it's another Norfolk shot, this time from a walk we did around Castle Rising. There were a couple of stiles along the way and for a confirmed City dweller they just scream countryside to me!  It looks like it's had some wear and tear along the way too and is now looking decidedly lopsided, ah well I think that adds to its charm.

Black & White photo #8: It's windy in Norfolk!

It does always seem to be windy in Norfolk, so now when my parents say it's been windy that translates to it's been more windy than normal - they've been living there for ten years now, so have clearly acclimatised!

For me, this photo sums the Norfolk countryside up - beautiful and just a little bit windswept!

The tree at the forefront of the picture is clearly in a windy spot and has just decided to go with the flow ...or should that be blow?
