What to do in the garden this month

• Put the garden to bed - move tender plants into a greenhouse or conservatory, and cover or store your garden furniture.

• Continue to deadhead flowers to encourage more flowers

• Water your pots, preferably using grey water or rainwater from water butts

• Harvest vegetables as they become ready, and enjoy them!
