Today I'm sharing pictures from our visit to Lulworth Cove in Dorset earlier in the year. We'd cycled there after driving a short way from our holiday cottage and while I knew it was going to be pretty, I didn't realise quite how much. I also knew it would be downhill to the cove, and you know what that means, don't you? Yes, uphill all the way back. It was worth it though - and even though it was March - it was thankfully, one of the nicer days on our trip.
It's the sort of place that will be hugely popular in the summer, and it's easy to see why. I'm glad our visit was when it was less busy, although I didn't expect to see people in the sea. In March. In the UK. And yes I know they are buoys in the photo below...
I'm on a boat today - the MSC Preziosa at Southampton, and while I don't think it's leaving the dock, I'm hoping the sea will be as calm as this.
Look, there's the people in the sea - I wasn't having you on.
With perhaps one or two too many photos of the picturesque bay, blue skies and a yellow boat we started our ascent and journey home and we hadn't even reached the cafe where we'd had lunch before I'd stopped to snap these wallflowers basking in the sun.
