Black & White photo: #KissforVEDay

This week I'm sharing a photo from our wedding day back in 2007, that I've revamped in support of The Royal British Legion's #KissforVEDay campaign. The idea is a simple one and that's to share a picture of you kissing a partner, friend or family member and share it on social media using the hashtag #KissforVEDay and encourage others to do the same.  And for a change I'm on the other side of the lens!

So why a kiss? Well seventy years ago the kiss became a symbol of victory as thousands gathered in London and spontaneous street parties took place across the country.

So who will you kiss to commemorate Victory in Europe?

Black & White photo: HMS Defender

You'll know from yesterday's post that we were able to visit HMS Defender when in docked in Greenwich last weekend and how I was amazed at the sheer size of the destroyer (and yes I know, it's obvious it would be big!) It also great that photos were allowed during most parts of our visit, and today I'm sharing a few that I think lend themselves to black and white - and that I didn't manage to squeeze into yesterday's post. Enjoy!
