Hello there, and welcome to this week’s #PoCoLo - a relaxed, friendly linky which I co-host with Suzanne, where you can link any blog post published in the last week. We know you’ll find some great posts to read, and maybe some new-to-you blogs too, so do pop over and visit some of the posts linked, comment and share some of that love.

Please don’t link up posts which are older as they will be removed, and if you see older posts are linked then please don’t feel that it’s necessary to comment on those. If you were here last week it was great to have you along, if you’re new here we’re pleased you’ve joined us.

It’s been another relaxed and easy going week here, both in real life and and on my blog with planned schedules taking a back seat. That said it feels like we’ve still accomplished much. I was at the Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham last Saturday - and wow! - my first visit, and definitely not my last, but so many amazing quilts!

And while I ponder those and all the posts I’m planning to share, I’ll leave you with this more serene and calm view from our village post box. I’d popped out Monday evening to post an impromptu letter, and couldn’t help but stop and admire - and snap - this view. Even though it looks as if one of the trees may have experienced some damage in the recent winds, it’s still a pretty perfect view isn’t it?

Have a great week.

It’s been a pretty relaxed week here, though we’ve packed plenty in. There was sewing group on Saturday when I made good progress on another stack of pouches, then dashed home to watch the rugby with MOH. There’s been a much anticipated massage and a haircut, and we’ve even had some work done around the house and in the garage moving and adding some power sockets.

My garden bin is full to the brim and as I type this MOH is cutting the grass, and while the weather’s been changeable and thankfully nowhere near as hot as it has been, there’s still been time to sit out and enjoy my new succulents on the patio, one of which I’ve shared below.

Have a great week.

While it was nice to see some rain last weekend, it was also a bit grim! Clearly we’ve got used to wall to wall sunshine - but thankfully there was a day of sport awaiting us starting with the first British and Lions test match against Australia, some Tour de France and then later on some darts. Yes we still have that sports subscription and are doing our best to get the most out of it.

I also took the opportunity to have this pretty bouquet delivered from the flower farm in our next village. I saw a post of theirs on Facebook lamenting the lack of customers at a local market in which they were offering their freshly picked hand tied bouquets for sale online too. Very enterprising I thought, and there’s nothing better than sunflowers to lift a grey day - and they’re still going strong.

Have a good week.
